WHO AM I?

GUEST WRITER: BRIAN MENDOLA

So who am I?

A question that can be interpreted in many way. Can you define all that you are in a name or adjective. Or perhaps a slogan or a phrase or two. Perhaps a reveal of who you think you are and eventually you can shorten it later. We shall see what may come as I write from a good yet slightly sleepy state of mind.

Who am I?

Let’s get the basics out of the way.

Human being from planet earth…too broad.

North American from the United States States of America…still to broad

I live in New York State, in Western New York, in Cheektowaga which near Buffalo. Am I getting there.

A married gay man, that has OCD and Anxiety and some Depression it checks it and leaves when its wants to.

A man with feelings, dreams, hopes and aspirations that are always changing. Some points hourly, daily, weekly, monthly year, decade(ly), in a span of a life time. I don’t know how long my life time will be but that’s a day we will both know.

So Who Am I?

Is it a true depiction of from loved ones, friends, coworkers, bosses, strangers, a grocery store clerk. I know I am not the same person from co workers to friends.

I get it there is a time to be a business professional, a model employee and upstanding citizen. There is also a time to let your hair down after the nine-to-five grind. The moment you take a shower to get rid of the stench of a busted heart and a bruised ego.

Who am I

I am a reasoned choice for living, my character, my alignment with nature and virtue. All else is temporary. The clothes, the jobs, the house, and the fine silverware. All doesn’t matter.

We are all interconnected as much as we like to admit that we are all snowflakes. There is another version of me facing the exact same thing. Maybe not in this life, maybe not my father’s but maybe in a past life. Granted our technology has been a bit advanced then back then, however feelings are universal. With no beginning or end date. People will be happy, sad, and anger.

Experience a wide ranges of stress, challenges, obstacles, opportunities, and tasks.

Who am I?

I am Brian Mendola, a man from Cheektowaga, NY. A man with feelings and energies. Energies that can make a lot of decisions every day. Some for today, some for tomorrow. Adding up to a wonderful life that I can look back on from time to time. I am proud of that, it may not be perfect but it is mine.

Let me ask a question.

Who are you?
