<image:title>Blog - Moments Create Momentum: Simple things, that aren’t little things, build school culture. - JASON JEDAMSKI</image:title>
<image:caption>I partner with schools and organizations to improve organizational performance by igniting people to unite toward the organization’s goals using a human-centered approach. I know, that last statement sounds very fancy. You want to know who I am, what experience I have, and how I can help you. Let’s fill in those gaps. I am a husband, father, educator, mentor, and former coach whose purpose is to help people live a better life than what they would have if they had never met me. The vehicle I use to live that purpose is education, consulting, and speaking. Like most people with over 20 years experience in their field, I have evolved a lot by learning from experience, other people, and reflection. The people that have shaped me the most are my awesome parents, legendary student-activities director from Tulsa Union High School Denise Vaniadis, and school culture speaker and consultant Phil Boyte. I have been fortunate to engineer culture change with several groups and schools but the most significant was moving the student culture from surviving to thriving at Broken Arrow (OK) High School. In 2013, I accepted the challenge of igniting student culture at Broken Arrow High School by serving the Broken Arrow School district as the Director of Student Life and Activities. During my first year as activities director at Broken Arrow, a school that had over 3,500 students enrolled in grades 10-12, we only had 100 students attend our homecoming dance, our last home football game had 28 students in the stands, and we had one leadership class of 25 students. Fast forward to 2017, BAHS had 255 students in leadership, we had established numerous traditions and activities, and we won Varsity Brand’s Most Spirited High School in America contest which included a $25,000 prize. The student culture turnaround I ignited at Broken Arrow led to consulting, facilitation, and speaking opportunities. In 2018, I left Broken Arrow Public Schools to work as a full-time facilitator, consultant, and speaker for Phil Boyte at Learning for Living, Inc. My time at Learning for Learning revealed to me that the same system I used to ignite culture at Broken Arrow is universal and works for schools and organizations. In 2021, I recognized it was time to start Ignite2Unite. I look forward to partnering with you so your school or organization can thrive. Learn more: https://www.ignite2unite.com/</image:caption>

<image:title>Blog - Embracing Kindness in Leadership: Courage, Empathy, and the Power of Leading with Heart - DR. MATTHEW GUTIERREZ</image:title>
<image:caption>Follow him on social media: Facebook | X Matthew Gutierrez, Ed.D, was named Superintendent of Del Valle ISD on October 12, 2024. Dr. Gutierrez’s priority is guiding the district toward an ambitious path toward overall improvement. He is working to effectively build a community engagement framework designed to help meet the district's needs of almost 12,000 students. Dr. Gutierrez possesses a bachelor’s degree from Angelo St. University, a master’s degree from Schreiner University, and a doctorate from Texas Tech University. To start his leadership in DVISD, he has implemented a clear 100-day entry plan, that you can view here. Intending to be transparent throughout the transition, the document will be updated as work progresses. In addition, he has started connecting with community members, students, and staff to redesign the district’s strategic plan. This process aims to increase the scope and rigor of the existing comprehensive plan to laser focus on goals, accountability, and strategic actions. The goal is to continuously improve Del Valle schools through the vision, mission, and goals outlined in the plan. Before joining Del Valle ISD, Dr. Gutierrez served as the Deputy Superintendent for Leander ISD and was previously the Superintendent at Seguin ISD for six years. As superintendent at Seguin ISD, he brought transformative changes, including developing task forces and facilitating a four-year strategic planning process. Seguin experienced double-digit growth in multiple areas of STAAR, with 8 of their 11 schools experiencing an increase in TEA ratings in 2022. He also oversaw long-range planning for growth, an aggressive approach to change the public image and increase community support, and successfully passed two Bond packages. Dr. Gutierrez went on to earn the Region 20 Superintendent of the Year Award in 2023 for this work in Seguin. Most recently, while at Leander ISD, Dr. Gutierrez provided oversight of Area Superintendents, 49 schools, and many of the District’s educational programs, including Curriculum and Instruction, Special Programs, Advanced Academics, and Career and Technical Education pathways. Dr. Gutierrez was previously the Assistant Superintendent in Plano ISD and held executive leadership positions at Little Elm ISD. He started his career in education as a middle school English Language Arts teacher at Northside ISD in San Antonio. He has also served as an elementary principal and middle school assistant principal during his career. Dr. Gutierrez served on the prestigious 2021-2022 cohort of the SMU District Leadership Fellows program. His leadership has garnered the Seguin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2018 Community Service Award, the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce 2020 Servant Leader Award, and a finalist in the TCEA 2020 Administrator of the Year program. Additionally, thanks to Dr. Gutierrez’s nomination, the Seguin ISD school board was named Region 20 School Board of the Year for 2022.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Blog - Kindness as a Lifestyle: Lessons from a Life Coach - JAYKE BROWN</image:title>
<image:caption>Hi! My name is Jayke (Jacob) Brown was born and raised in North Canton, Ohio. I have an amazing partner and a wonderful daughter. My family and friends are the inspirations behind a lot of my stories. I am an author, certified life coach, motivational speaker, positive psychology practitioner and relationship specialist. I tend to focus on empowering the LGBTQ+ community, individuals/companies in need and our allies! For over 15 years, I was an activity director in Health care communities. Along the way, I realized that they were helping me as much as I was helping them. Seeing the smiles on their faces brought so much joy to me. My residents helped me realize that we are always working on ourselves and creating new dreams. My dream of becoming an author started when a resident asked me, "What are you waiting for Jayke?" This lit a fire under me to stop waiting and I began making my dreams my reality! I am now working full-time as an entrepreneur following my dreams while traveling domestically, internationally, and virtually to help others reach their dreams too. If you're ready to change your life and truly believe that #yougotthis, then let's get started! www.jaykebrown.com coachjaykebrown@gmail.com TT:jaykebrown | IG:jaykeabrown | YT:jaykebrown | FB:Jayke Brown</image:caption>
